Sparkly Iris Bracelet Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • IrisDuo beads in jet and white shimmer.
  • RounDuo beads.
  • DiscDuo beads (optional for an alternate design).
  • Miyuki seed beads sizes 11/0 and 15/0 in various colors.
  • 2x3mm Rondelles in crystal AB and other colors.
  • Clasp (PotomacBeads used a cut button).
  • Wildfire beading thread (0.006" recommended).
  • Size 10 or 12 beading needle.
  • Thread burner or scissors.

    Quick Project Steps

    Gather materials including IrisDuo, RounDuo, seed beads, rondelles, clasp, thread, and needle.
    Start with threading the needle and preparing a length of thread. Create the first component by stringing IrisDuo beads and 11/0 seed beads, forming a circle.
    Secure the structure by passing through the beads multiple times and tying off. Add RounDuo beads and secure with 15/0 seed beads between the IrisDuos. Decorate with rondelles and additional seed beads to enhance the component. Repeat the process to create additional components.
    Connect the components using round duo beads, adding a clasp for closure. Finalize the bracelet by ensuring all threads are secured and trimmed.
