Quick Project Steps

Prepare a size 10 beading needle with five feet of white .006 wildfire beading thread.
String 35 beads in alternating patterns of five 11/0 seed beads and two Quarter Tilas, securing with a stop bead.
Form a tubular shape by passing through the initial sequence of beads to start row two.
Progress through rows by alternating between adding a Quarter Tila and five seed beads, and then five seed beads followed by a Quarter Tila, to create the basket weave pattern.
After completing five rows, change the direction and seed bead color to create a zigzag pattern.
Continue the pattern, alternating colors and directions after every five rows for the desired length.
To finish, add five seed beads per stitch in the final row to tighten the cover, securing it on the needle case. Secure the ends with knots and trim excess thread.
