Vitruvian Necklace Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Diamond Duo beads (Aztec Gold color, 10 total for the tutorial)
  • Tango beads (Jet Bronze color, 20 total)
  • Two-Hole Bar beads (White Teal Luster, 20 total)
  • Miyuki 15/0 seed beads (Black Bronze color)
  • Miyuki 11/0 seed beads (Duracoat Galvanized Silver)
  • Wildfire beading thread (0.006, green)
  • Size 10 beading needle
  • Bead mat and thread burner for convenience

    Quick Project Steps

    Gather all materials and prepare your workspace.
    Thread your needle with a 4-foot length of Wildfire thread, attaching a stop bead. Begin the first component: String Tango beads, ensuring proper orientation for connection.
    Add Two-Hole Bar beads and string 11/0 seed beads for outer edges.
    Integrate Diamond Duo beads into the design, paying attention to their direction. Complete the first component by looping back through beads to secure.
    Repeat the process to create a total of five components.
    Create the chain by stringing 11/0 seed beads, incorporating additional Diamond Duo beads for embellishment.
    Attach the clasp to finish the necklace.
