    Quick Project Steps

Prepare Materials: Gather round Duo beads, SuperDuo beads (or bar beads), 11/0 seed beads, and 1.5 x 2 mm rondelle crystals. Use size 8 thread and a suitable needle (size 10 or 12). Start the Base: Thread a needle with the size 8 thread and pick up one round Duo bead, followed by an 11/0 seed bead. Repeat this process four times, creating a loop. Tie a knot to secure the beads in place. Step Up to the Next Layer: Pass the needle through the interior hole of the round Duo bead and step up to the exterior hole. Add two 11/0 seed beads, followed by a SuperDuo bead, and continue around the loop. Add the Second Layer: After completing the first round with SuperDuo beads, step up through the SuperDuo and repeat the process with round Duo beads, inserting them between the existing beads. Insert Crystals: Thread 11/0 seed beads and rondelle crystals between the beads in the design, following the pattern demonstrated in the video. Finish the Bead: Complete the final round by securing all beads tightly. Tie off the thread and trim any excess. Your beaded bead is now ready to be incorporated into your desired jewelry piece.
