Scalloped Herringbone Bracelet Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 14 grams of 8/0 seed beads
  • 2-3 grams of 11/0 seed beads
  • Six-millimeter round beads (number depends on bracelet length)
  • Fireline thread (.006 or .008)
  • Size 10 or 12 beading needle

    Prepare Your Materials: Gather 8/0 and 11/0 seed beads, round beads, Fireline thread, and a beading needle.
    Start with Ladder Stitch: Begin your bracelet with a ladder stitch, using 8/0 seed beads to form the base width.
    Initiate Herringbone Stitch: Transition into the herringbone stitch, adding two 8/0 beads at a time and creating a V shape.
    Add Bridges and Fringes: Incorporate 11/0 seed beads as bridges between herringbone sets and as fringes to embellish the design.
    Create the Scalloped Effect: Adjust the bead size and the number of bridge beads to achieve the desired scallop size.
    Complete the Design: Continue the pattern to the desired length, finish with a herringbone row, and attach clasps for closure.
