Triad Earrings Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 11/0 Delicas (Miyuki brand, Duracoat galvanized silver color)
  • 15/0 Seed Beads (Opaque smoke color or similar)
  • 6mm Czech Glass Pearls
  • Head pins and 24 gauge wire
  • Ear wires
  • .006 Wildfire Beading Thread (Green color)
  • Size 12 Needle
  • Beading tools: Thread Zap or thread burner, Bent Nose Pliers, Wire Cutters, Round Nose Pliers

    Quick Project Steps

    Prepare the Materials: Gather 11/0 Delicas, 15/0 seed beads, 6mm Czech Glass Pearls, head pins, 24 gauge wire, ear wires, beading thread, and tools.
    Start the Triangle: Using peyote stitch, begin weaving the triangle with 11/0 Delicas, adding 15/0 seed beads at the corners for definition.
    Build the Triangle: Continue with peyote stitch, increasing the triangle size and pulling the edges to form a sharp triangular shape.
    Add Pearls: Place a pearl at each corner of the triangle using head pins and secure with wire working techniques.
    Assemble the Earrings: Attach the beaded triangle to ear wires, ensuring the orientation matches the earring design.
    Final Adjustments: Make any necessary adjustments to ensure the earrings hang correctly and look symmetrical.
