Wire & Seed Bead Wreaths Tutorial

Wire & Seed Bead Wreaths Tutorial
The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 11/0 and 15/0 Miyuki Delica seed beads in red and green.
  • A pewter hammered ring (32mm diameter recommended).
  • Ear wires for earrings.
  • 24 gauge and 20 gauge silver-plated wire.
  • Wire cutters, round nose pliers, flat nose pliers.

    Quick Project Steps

    Gather all materials, including 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads, a pewter ring, ear wires, and both 24 and 20 gauge wire.
    Start by wrapping the 24 gauge wire around the ring to anchor it.
    Thread the seed beads onto the wire and wrap around the ring, ensuring beads are tightly packed.
    Continue wrapping, adding beads until the wreath is fully covered.
    For the bow, cut 6cm of 20 gauge wire, shape it using round nose pliers, and hammer lightly for texture.
    Attach the bow to the wreath by wrapping the wire ends securely.
    Create a loop at the top of the wreath for the ear wire, then attach the ear wire.
    Repeat the process to create a matching earring.
