Rivoli Bezel Tutorial

From beginners to the most experienced beaders, this project is for you! Designer Allie shows us How to Bezel a 14mm Rivoli, which can be used for a number of jewelry making ideas. This component is bright, bold, and beautiful, using a blend Miyuki Delicas and Seed Beads. Practice your peyote stitch and get your bead on!

Potomac Crystal Rivoli 14mm - Aqua AB, 1 Piece
Miyuki Delica 11/0 - Duracoat Galvanized Silver, 18 Beads
Miyuki Delica 11/0 - Galvanized Dark Steel Blue, 36 Beads
Miyuki Seed Bead 15/0 - Dyed Aqua Green Silver Lined Alabaster, 54 Beads
Miyuki Seed Bead 15/0 - Duracoat Galvanized Gold, 45 Beads
Wire Guard - Silver Plated, 1 Optional

Quick Project Steps

Prepare Your Beads: Arrange your Miyuki Delica and Seed Beads.
Begin the Peyote Stitch: Start with alternating Delica beads to form the first two rows of the peyote stitch. Integrate the Rivoli: Carefully place the 14mm Rivoli within the stitched beads.
Tighten the Bezel: Add smaller 15/0 seed beads to pull the bezel tight around the Rivoli.
Add a Wire Guard (Optional): For making the piece into wearable jewelry, attach a wire guard at the top. Final Adjustments: Make any necessary adjustments to ensure the Rivoli is securely bezelled.
