Materials Used To make The  Project

Designer's Material List

The Designer's suggested colors and materials:
  • IrisDuo® Beads - Jet Red Luster, ~25 Pieces
  • Dragon Scale Beads - Metallic Red, ~75 Pieces
  • Potomac Crystal Bicones 3mm - Garnet AB, ~56 Pieces
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 15/0 - Galvanized Gold, ~2 Grams
  • Wire Guards - Gold Plated, ~2 Pieces
  • Chain - Brass, ~10 Inches
  • Step-By-Step Instructions

Start with five IrisDuo® beads, ensuring they are all facing the same direction.
Tie these beads into a circle with beading thread, creating the base of the poinsettia.
Add Dragon Scale beads and 15/0 Miyuki Seed Beads between each IrisDuo® to form the first layer of petals.
Integrate 3mm Potomac Crystal Bicones around the circle for added sparkle.
Use the second hole of the IrisDuo® beads to add another layer of Dragon Scale beads, creating a fuller poinsettia look.
Finish the flower by adding a wire guard for attachment to the brass chain.
Repeat the process for additional flowers, connecting them to create a necklace.
