Learn a simple alternative method to achieving a bezeled look in this PotomacBeads tutorial. Create a dazzling Faux Bezeled Pear Drop Pendant with ease.
Place the Potomac crystal pear drop into the setting. Use pliers to bend the prongs down onto the crystal to hold it in place. Put a stop bead on size 6 DragonThread. Sew through the first hole in the setting from the inside out. Add seven 11/0s and thread across through the top holes. Add seven more 11/0s and thread through the bottom hole of the setting.
Watch the Faux Bezeled Pear Drop Pendant tutorial to follow along with Allie’s simple steps.
Get back to the starter thread at the back and tie the thread ends together. You can leave the stop bead inside the back of the setting. Burn down the thread ends. Add the chain to the Potomac crystal pear drop setting. Add beads to the chain if you’d like to add a little extra bling.
Use this method to quickly create a Faux Bezeled Pear Drop Pendant. The crystal really pops on the simple chain necklace. You’ll love slipping on this necklace to top off any outfit.
