DiscDuo beads are used in a variety of ways, and the two holes give it a lot of flexibility in designs. Designer's Material List

The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • DiscDuo beads (6mm, two-hole, in jet and jet bronze colors)
  • Miyuki 11/0 seed beads in Crystal Labrador finish
  • Size 10 English beading needle (Pony brand recommended)
  • Beading thread (0.006" Wildfire, green color recommended)
  • Scissors and thread burner for cutting and finishing the thread
  • Flat nose or needle nose pliers for flattening the thread
  • Bead mat to prevent beads from rolling
  • Quick Project Steps

    Prepare Materials: Gather DiscDuo beads, Miyuki 11/0 seed beads, beading needle, and thread.
    Start Peyote Stitch: Thread a stop bead, then string three DiscDuo beads as the first row.
    Continue Pattern: Alternate colors and add rows in the peyote stitch pattern, utilizing both holes of the DiscDuo beads.
    Achieve Desired Length: Work until the bracelet reaches your desired length minus the clasp space.
    Add Clasp: Sew on a cut button at one end and create a loop at the other end with seed beads for the clasp.
    Side Decoration: Optionally add a row of seed beads along the edges for a finished look.
