Materials Used To make The  Project

Designer's Material List

The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 14 grams of 8/0 seed beads
  • 2-3 grams of 11/0 seed beads
  • Six-millimeter round beads (number depends on bracelet length)
  • Fireline thread (.006 or .008)
  • Size 10 or 12 beading needle
  • Quick Project Steps

Prepare Your Materials: Gather 8/0 and 11/0 seed beads, round beads, Fireline thread, and a beading needle.
Start with Ladder Stitch: Begin your bracelet with a ladder stitch, using 8/0 seed beads to form the base width.
Initiate Herringbone Stitch: Transition into the herringbone stitch, adding two 8/0 beads at a time and creating a V shape.
Add Bridges and Fringes: Incorporate 11/0 seed beads as bridges between herringbone sets and as fringes to embellish the design.
Create the Scalloped Effect: Adjust the bead size and the number of bridge beads to achieve the desired scallop size.
Complete the Design: Continue the pattern to the desired length, finish with a herringbone row, and attach clasps for closure.
