Materials Used To make The  Project

Designer's Material List

The Designer’s suggested colors and materials for ~7.5-inch (19 cm) wrist:
Miyuki Long Magatama Beads - Matte Metallic Dark Olive
Miyuki Long Magatama Beads - Matte Metallic Khaki Iris
Miyuki Seed Beads 11/0 - Matte Transparent Gray AB
Miyuki Seed Beads 8/0 - Labrador Full

Quick Project Steps

Begin by threading an 8/0 seed bead, a Czech glass bead, and another 8/0 seed bead.
Create a sunray pattern by stringing one 11/0 seed bead, five long magatamas (points facing up and to the left for consistency), and another 11/0 seed bead.
Loop back through the nearest 8/0 seed bead to the Czech glass bead, pulling tight to form the sunray.
Continue threading through the Czech glass bead, adding another set of sunrays on the other side.
Repeat the pattern, adding beads in a right-angle weave style for expansion.
Experiment with shapes, sizes, or even shorten the design for earrings.
