Quick Project Steps

PotomacBeads is excited to bring you a classic summer fashion - the Barrel Bangle bracelet! In this PotomacBeads Tutorial, you'll learn how to join together beautiful metallic barrels using the CRAW and Peyote stitches. So get your beads and thread ready, and let's get started!
1. Put a size 10 needle onto about an arm span length of thread. Pick up one 15/0 and three 11/0s and slide down to the end of the thread leaving a tail. Thread through all the beads again and back through the 15/0 one more time to start the CRAW stitch. Move over to the next bead add two 11/0s and a 15/0 and bring the needle through the second 11/0 from the first segment. Continue until you have made six segments, using the sixth one to join the beads into a circle.
2. Watch the Barrel Bangle bracelet tutorial to see how Tereza creates the barrels out of StormDuo, DropDuo and IrisDuo beads.
3. When you have reached the desired length (around 9 barrels) to be able to slide over your fist, stitch together the two ends to form a loop. Tie the thread ends and burn off the tips.
