  • Double Flat Spiral Bracelet- DIY Jewelry Making Tutorial by PotomacBeads
This video tutorial from PotomacBeads shows you how to make a double flat spiral stitch bracelet. Like the regular flat spiral, this bracelet can use your choice of round/bicone beads and seed beads. The pattern is generally the same, and you can in fact take a regular flat spiral bracelet and add onto it to make a double flat spiral. We hope you enjoy this awesome and fun beadweaving technique!

Materials Used To make The  Project

Designer's Material List

The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • Potomac Crystal Bicone 4mm - Cream Opal
  • Miyuki Seed Beads 11/0 - Galvanized Gold
  • Pewter Clasp
  • Additional materials for the tutorial include cat's eye beads (aqua and light sapphire colors), 4mm crystals (light Colorado topaz), and 11/0 seed beads (sparkle metallic gold lined crystal).
  • Size 10 English beading needle and white wildfire beading thread (.006).
  • Quick Project Steps

Start with a completed single flat spiral bracelet.
Attach a stop bead to a new thread and begin by adding two cat's eye beads.
Follow by adding a sequence of five 11/0 seed beads, one 4mm crystal, and another set of five 11/0 seed beads.
Loop back through the two cat's eye beads to form the base of the second spiral.
Continue by adding beads in the pattern, sharing a crystal bead with the first spiral to interlink the two layers.
Repeat the process to extend the length of the double spiral along the bracelet.
Finish by securing the thread and attaching clasps as needed.
