  • Quick Project Steps

Black Eyed Susans are a seen as a symbol of encouragement and motivation, so what better way to show your support than to make a bracelet out of them? In this PotomacBeads tutorial, we'll show you how to make a Black Eye Susan bracelet that is both beautiful and meaningful.
  • Begin with a size 10 needle with size 8 dragon thread. Make a pattern with four DIscDuos separated by two 11/0s. Take the needle back through the first DiscDuo. Step up to the outer hole and add a light colored seed bead, a pearl and another seed bead. Bring the needle through the next DiscDuo. Repeat the pattern around the loop.
  • Watch the Black Eye Susan Bracelet tutorial to see how Allie adds sections together and decorates with Potomac pearls to create flowers in the design.
  • Add a cup button with seed beads to the end of the project. Bring the thread down through a few beads, knot and burn off the edge.
The Black-eyed Susan bracelet is a fun project that can have a variety of looks depending on the colors of beads used. PotomacBeads has a great selection of materials you can use to make your own. Go for a bright look with yellow and black beads. Or, you can get really creative and use any combination of colors you like! Project Length: 7
