Materials Used To make The  Project

Designer's Material List

The Designer’s suggested colors and materials:
  • 6mm round or bicone beads (pearls used in the example; matte glass beads in the demonstration)
  • Montees in SS16 (3.8mm) or SS20 (4.6mm) sizes
  • 11/0 seed beads
  • Two size 10 English beading needles
  • .006 Wildfire beading thread
  • Quick Project Steps

Start: Thread two needles with Wildfire beading thread.
Base Creation: Begin with a 6mm bead, add 11/0 seed beads, and alternate with 6mm beads, crossing needles through the beads to form the base.
Adding Montees: After completing the base, add Montees by crisscrossing threads through the back cross-section of each Montee.
Continuing Pattern: Repeat the process of adding seed beads and Montees, securing them by crossing through subsequent 6mm beads.
Clasp Attachment: Conclude by adding a clasp, threading through 11/0 seed beads to secure.
