Designer's Material List

The designer's suggested colors & materials:
  • RounDuo Mini Beads - White Teal Luster 4mm, ~ 90 Beads
  • DiscDuo Beads - Zinc Iris 6mm, ~ 30 Beads
  • RounDuo Beads - Metallic Sea Blue 5mm, ~ 30 Beads
  • SuperDuo Beads - Silver Labrador Full 2.5x5mm, ~ 10 Beads
  • Miyuki Seed Beads - Chartreuse Lined Olive AB 11/0, ~ 1 Gram
  • Table Cut Buttons - Opaque Blue Turquoise Travertine, 1 Button
  • Quick Project Steps

Begin the Right Angle Weave: Start with round Duo minis, creating a square unit using a stop bead on size 8 Green Dragon thread. Step up from the first hole to the second hole of the round Duo mini. Incorporate Multihole Beads: Add a DiscDuo, a RounDuo mini, and another DiscDuo. Sew through the beads, creating a right angle weave unit. Repeat the pattern, alternating the beads. Add Complexity: Continue the pattern with DiscDuos, round Duos, and SuperDuos. Create a patchwork design, resembling a honeycomb look for the bracelet. Advance the Design: Include SuperDuos in the second and third rows of the weave. Add a clasp using a table cut button and Miyuki seed beads. Final Touches: Complete the second row of the weave. Reinforce the clasp area and add seed beads along the exterior for a finished look. Tie off and burn down the thread ends for a neat finish.
