This spectacular Crystal Serpent Necklace will add elegance to your outfit. Learn how to use a simple right angle weave stitch to create the snaking effect of the crystals around the seed beads. 1. Put a stop bead on 5 feet of size 6 white Dragonthread. Begin with a Potomac crystal bicone, an 8/0, another crystal and an 11/0. Bring the needle back through the first 3 beads. Add an 11/0, a crystal and an 8/0. Sew into the opposite side of the crystal the thread is coming out of. Sew up through the bottom 11/0 and crystal on the right to get ready to add the next RAW unit. 2. Follow along with the Crystal Serpent Necklace tutorial to complete the strand and embellish the sides with the crystals to form the snake design. 3. When you get to the end of the design, add a strand of seed beads 2.5 inches long. Add a button clasp to the end with a crystal in the button. Thread back down the line of seed beads to reinforce. Do the same on the other side, adding a loop instead of a button. You’ll love the sparkling splendor of this Crystal Serpent necklace! Wear it in a keyhole style or switch it up by adding in a crystal rivoli or drop, the choice is yours.
