She uses only Miyuki Seed Beads in 11/0 and 15/0 sizes, plus the crystal in this beginning beader tutorial. This can be used as a component to make earrings, necklaces or bracelets. The possibilities are endless!

  • Step-By-Step Instructions

Prepare the Base: Start with a circle of four 11/0 seed beads using the CRAW stitch.
Build the Bezel: Continue adding cubes of beads around the circle, alternating colors for clarity, until you have a strip long enough to wrap around the navette.
Insert the Navette: Carefully place the navette within the bezel base and adjust the beadwork to secure it.
Transition to Peyote: Switch to Peyote stitch, adding 11/0 seed beads between the existing beads to tighten the bezel around the navette.
Add Embellishments: Use 15/0 seed beads for additional rows to secure the navette further and add aesthetic detail.
Final Adjustments: Make any necessary adjustments to bead tension and add any final embellishments to complete the bezel.
